We stayed with our teenage daughter and were slightly worried that the 3rd bed in the room wouldn't be long enough, but unless you are very tall it will be fine. The room was very quiet, facing the building's interior courtyard. The location near the Vatican is away from the some of the main tourist areas, but the metro is only m away.

There are many great local restaurants close to the north-west away from the Vatican, such as Pizzeria La Boccaccia which sells very good pizza by the slice and Siciliainbocca, which is quite fancy which you may find cheaper and better than the tourist restaurants. There's a 24hr bakery a few metres away, and convenience stores on the route to the metro. And Agostino has plenty of good recommendations. Breakfast was very good - toast, bakery items, boiled egg, yoghurt, juice and coffee, with more of everything offered. We had to leave early on our last day so Agostino made sure everything was ready so we could help ourselves and even showed me how to make a cappuccino using the milk-frother in the kitchen.

QuodLibet is very highly recommended, and we hope to return. When in the train station, ready to board the train from the airport to arrive at our location, my husband was pick pocketed of his drivers license, debit card, credit card and some cash. Yes, we read about being careful and we were Anyway, you can imagine our frustration and anger after traveling all night. We were tired and now very upset and that's how we arrived at our destination.

We were met with a kind host, who helped us contact all those we needed to fix our issues with our experience. He was calm and very helpful. The first room was stayed in was large and was wonderful for putting all our "stuff" out without it being in the way. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. We did have to move to another room however after there was an issue with the plumbing.

They moved all our belongings to a much smaller room but it was still nicely decorated and the bed was just as comfortable. The breakfast room was very quiet and the food was simple yet delicious and let us be on our way pronto. This location is great. Within a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and the subway is within a 5 minute walk. There is a 24 hour bakery very close and that should be your landmark coming off the train or taxi. We had a bit of an issue trying to find the place but that is part of the adventure of traveling and it really wasn't a big deal.

Our host also helped us secure a taxi to the train so we can get to the port, helped us buy the tickets online and printed them out for us. He even helped us with our luggage to the taxi and made sure we weren't over paying by telling us the fixed price to the train station. We would highly recommend this lodging and wish we had started our vacation without being ripped offrelieved our first night in Rome was in a great place with great people. Very great stay in Rome.

You're here

Central and amazing host, Gianluca, who went out of his way to help us with any questions we had. A pleasure and would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in Rome. Grazie ancora. The best hotel during our Italy trip! Agostino was a great host and was so interesting to talk to.

He gave us wonderful tips for restaurants and directions and made our stay in Rome terrific. The room was very good - the bathroom was really nice - and the location was great for getting around in Rome. And I would definitely stay there again. Staying in private apartments worked out well for our family with two teenagers as there was more space than a hotel room would provide, and the kids got a better feel for how the locals lived.

The best location ever! We arrived by taxi and the taxi stop was about steps away. Secondly, we were so centrally located that we were able to easily walk everywhere - Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona were within minutes walking distance and the Colossuem, Forum, Palatine Hill and Vatican minutes. Saved us money and time on transportation - taxi fares probably would have been Euro each time and I'm sure public transportation was near by, but we never had the need to look into it. Best to walk in Rome anyhow, so much to experience. The accommodation itself was great too!

We liked our host Agostino who was friendly and greeted us with a bottle of Italian Chianti upon arrival. Agostino was very helpful in showing us around the apartment and making recommendations for activities, tours, and restaurants and how to get around in general while providing us with a map which was nice. Agostino was also available to answer questions throughout our stay and was quick to respond to our needs. The apartment itself was very clean and nicely decorated in a neutral, white, airy pallet.

The kitchen, even though we didn't really use it for more than breakfast and snacks, was adequately equipped with pots and pans, dishes, refrigerator, stove, oven, as well as tea bags and an expresso maker with pods. If you're concerned about the noise of people walking around the Trevi late into the night, don't be.

With the windows closed you could not hear the street noise as once you enter the building where the apartment is located you're slightly set back off the Trevi Fountain. I have been to Europe many times, and this is my fourth time in Rome and the tour guides that City Lights Tours have are more than excellent. Our tour guide for the Colosseum was earning is PhD in arch. Our travel agent had recommended Viator Tours www.

Book a tour with a good company, that's all I can say because these two companies were very knowledgeable. I overheard other tour guides talking without much to say, so it varies. It is a short walk to the metro and down to Vatican City. My husband and I loved our room! We were in the Summer Room and highly recommend it.

The room is bright and fun with a very comfortable bed. We stayed in this room for 3 nights. We also stayed one night in the Autumn Room on our last night in Italy. Agostino was an excellent host. When we arrived he provided us with a map and recommendations on where to visit and eat.

One night he even drove us to a tour we were running late for! However, we have one recommendation for all travelers, please be sure to email Agostino at info quodlibetroma. We submitted our request months ago however, somehow it was not forwarded to Agostino in a timely manner. We were invited to stay at another accommodation near the Trevi Fountain for our first night in Rome.

While this other place was unique in its own way and allowed us easy access to the other side of the city, we did not enjoy it as much as QuodLibet. QuodLibet is really the place to stay in Rome! We highly recommend QuodLibet and will return if we travel to Rome again in the future. Clean room, kind host and lovely breakfast. The room was nice and large as was the bathroom. There is also a common area available to sit and read in and there is a fabulous 24 hour bakery next door, and as such, the place is always filled with incredible baked goods to nibble on.

The only issue with this place is that the air conditioning was a bit limited but we were there during an extreme heat wave. I would recommend this place and also would stay here again. We were not impressed with Rome itself. I wouldn't recommend the trip to friends or family.

Yet, if they do desire to go, I will definitely recommend Quodlibet to them. Agostino was a very gracious, and helpful host. The facilities were perfect and quant. The stay there was very pleasant. The hosts were so kind and helpful. Whether it was making us comfortable In their home or giving us advice on restaurants and sights, these guys were top notch! Thank you for making our stay in Rome a memorable one! Nice and spacious room. Charming hosts who gave us great advice for eating out and planned routes for our sightseeing.

Our room was delightful, great for spending downtime in when we were tired and also for breakfast which was particularly good. It's in a handy location, close to the Vatican and the Metro. It met all of our requirements and more. We'd definitely make a return visit and recommend it to our friends. The owner, Angelo, was very kind and helpful, eager to give us any information we needed or to help out with whatever questions we had. The place is situated in the beautiful area of Trastevere, which has that great Roman vibe.

Great environment, and a very good place to get something good to eat in the evening. The terrace is a great addition. Accompanied by three sweet cats it's a good place for a bit of relaxation, whether in the morning or in the evening. I only have good words about the place and can recommend it to everyone who prefers a Bed and Breakfast in Rome. Upon our arrival we were given some amazing tips that made our time in Rome easy and fun.

We were given a map with a few walking routes mapped out and tips on when to go to the busiest sites. The room was nice and big, the AC worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. Best part. We were able to line up for the Wednesday General Audience with the Pope with no hassle. I would absolutely stay here again!!

The price is well worth for the quality of the place in this popular and touristic city.

Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. Easy walk to the Vatican. Close to restaurants and the metro. The room was nice and met our needs. Agostino and DeLuca were fantastic in helping us settle in and providing us with any questions we had. They also help set up transportation from the airport and to Civitavecchia when we departed. The breakfasts were perfect to start our day off.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. Gave us a lot of information Accommodation: Very nice and clean. Only the toilet was a little broken. Setting: Very good, metro was m away and we didnt had noice complaints from the outside. Food: Breakfast was good. Fresh croissants, eggs and warm toast. Small dislikes - very small and hot elavator.

Before you came down, you are all sweaty. We slept next to the breakfast room and the next morning you hear the other guest eating and talking. Our hosts were very helpful, full of information about avoiding queues and recommending good value restaurants. Good to have access to a kitchen for drinks, felt very safe. Owners were wonderful to us and always there to help with anything we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was very convenient to the Metro and very well located for visiting the Vatican. Both our warm hosts made every effort to make us feel welcome and orientated with the lovely, safe neighbourhood and getting around Rome the best way to suit our needs with genuine interest in our itinerary and interests. We had a charming room for three which was always clean and serviced daily.

Breakfasts were more than ample and served to accommodate our early morning schedules. Besides the charming hospitality, for us the best aspect of Quodlibet was location Touring Rome means being on one's feet a lot so, staying at Quodlibet proved a perfect location. And did I mention that the best shopping district in Rome is really nearby too? We would gladly return next time round. It was our first time in Rome and the hosts gave us a fulsome welcome and a great deal of useful advise including maps and recommendations for restaurants and how to get the best out of the major sightseeing places.

The location is very central - perfect for the Vatican and the river and convenient for the airport.

The rooms are well appointed, clean and bright and no detail is spared. The breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest and plentiful. The one amusing drawback is that if you choose to leave your window open at night there is air conditioning you enjoy the ALL NIGHT sounds of the city's all night bakery below the building which is authentic but exhausting.

We were most pleased with everything about this bed and breakfast! Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We would highly recommend this inn to anyone. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Winter room; it was comfortable, well-appointed and spotlessly clean.

Upon our arrival, Agostino reviewed a map of the city, pointed out various landmarks and provided suggestions on the best way to visit each. In addition, he gave us several excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast that was provided each morning was generous and included juice, coffee, fresh pastries, meat, cheese, and eggs. It was delivered to our room each day by GianLuca who was very gracious. We could not speak Italian so everything provided by our hosts made our vacation stress free and very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your exemplary hospitality with us.

In addition, booking was accomplished on-line? Italia Lodging was efficient, accurate and very easy to work with. Connie was very patient with our myriad of questions and her helpfulness made our trip less stressful. Dimenticavo, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. We were very pleased to find out that the place lived up to all the great reviews. It is a wonderful place in a great location. It is a 5 minute walk to the Vatican. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Rome.

It was in an ideal position, great location to visit the Vatican, very close to metro station and great area for restaurants and shopping. We have stayed in Rome a number of times Quodlibet was by far the most spacious room we have experienced and the hosts were wonderful very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was typical continental, very generous and served when it suited you to your room if you wanted.

They organised pick up and drop off at the airport, it was well priced, totally hassle free with great cars and drivers. If you are looking for a stay in Rome where you don't want to stay in a generic hotel this is the place for you. This was our first trip to Rome. Regrettably we don't speak Italian, so we were somewhat anxious about our ability to get around with ease. All of our stress began to lessen as soon as we met the friendly driver at the airport which Italia Lodging had arranged.

Upon arriving at QuodLibet, GianLuca welcomed us warmly and then sat down with us and showed us on a city map good restaurants, how to navigate the city, explained the Metro etc. The lodging suited us perfectly because it is in a more tranquil part of the city, but near everything you could possibly need. The common areas and our well-appointed room, a most peaceful space, were spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our Italian breakfast every morning and all the hospitality we were offered during our stay. We hope to return one day.

In the meanwhile, we give QuodLibet and its wonderful hosts the highest recommendation! We felt welcomed by Gianluca and all from the moment we got in and checked out. Breakfast provided was delicious, the room was huge and most importantly, clean. WiFi was fast and the hosts never hesitated when we needed help and even provided us with their personal numbers in case we require any form of assistance. QuodLibet is well-located with the subway just a few steps away, 24 hours bakery is also available in the basement area should we feel hungry at night.

Nonetheless, we felt that QuodLibet provides exemplary service and is definitely a value for money choice. Highly recommended! The staff, including housekeeping staff, was personable, helpful, knowledgeable, but never intrusive. They asked if everything was ok with the room several times during our 6 day stay. The AC worked well, which was good because it did get quite warm a few days. We were a little concerned when we booked about the location not being ideal for us, but the location worked well as it is close to the vatican and good public transport metro and buses are nearby.

The staff, Gianwca and Agostino were extremely helpful and kind to us as this was our very first trip to Italy. Their knowledge of the area and advice helped us out and saved us time and expense getting around Roma, to include where to go, how to get there and to experience not just the tourist sites, but where the locals eat and shop for a total Italian experience. Quodlibet was at a great location to the Vatican, about a ten minute walk and was very clean and neat. The breakfast was great and had a variety of choices to eat and drink. Overall the personal service stood out the most and when we return to Roma we will stay there again and again.

A very high recommendation from us to anyone that plans to visit Roma and the Vatican area. We can't thank them enough. The location was excellent, very close to the vatican. The hosts provided great recommendations and were better than a concierge service. I would gladly stay here again, and would recommend it to any friend that I have who is traveling to Rome. To make it perfect I would only slightly change the breakfast menu to healthier items, but I'm certain most travelers like it just the way it is. Agosto and Gianluca couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we walked in with the aroma of the bakery next door until we left for home 4 days later we felt at home. We were welcomed by our host with an orientation session to the city along with a map he marked with things we should see and do. Even though they were not there all the time we had numbers to call should we need them. They were always very helpful with any need we had. Our room was clean, roomy and nicely decorated, the breakfast was delicious with fresh bakery items, coffee, juice, cheese, boiled egg, salami and toasted Italian bread.

The room refrigerator was stocked with soft drinks and bottled water which was all complimentary. We also had access to the kitchen to make tea or instant coffee. The location was perfect. It was just a short walk to the Metro and very close to St. Peter's square. The neighborhood had nice shops and restaurants as well.

The tree lined street was so inviting. It was like an oasis in the middle of the city. When I go back to Rome I would not think of staying anywhere else. The location is super, close to the Vatican. Fabio and his team are very helpful and give you advice about where to go in Rome. I highly recommend Federici.

The B and B is very well located near the Vatican and the subway, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast provided was delicious and sumptuous. Most importantly, the innkeepers are generous and extremely helpful, giving their time to help orient you and doing everything they can to make your visit to Rome easy and delightful. I will definitely try to stay here on any future visits. Near the Vatican in a treelined avenue. Very helpful hosts, very informative too.

Publisher Description

Very clean rooms and scrumptious breakfasts. Thank you very much, Gainluca and Agostino. Convenient locations. Friendly hosts. We didn't want to be in "Tourist Central" with the crowds, but in an urban residential area. Location: Excellent. Close to the Vatican where we had booked a tour; close to a metro stop; close enough to walk to the Centro Storico; close to good shopping and places to eat. Our room: Light and airy; clean; spacious we had a family room ; comfortable beds.

A pleasure to come home to at the end of a busy day. Breakfast: Perfectly adequate, with many options, and more than enough to eat. Service: Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. A pleasure to deal with. In summary, I highly recommend QuodLibet when visiting Rome. It will be my first port of call for my next visit. The staff at Federici was very helpful from the get go. We could see that they were really passionate about Rome and assisted us in finding our way to the meet up points for our tours and all around Rome. The breakfast was great and listening to Fabio talk about something as simple the bread that we had for breakfast and its history made me realise that we were in the right place with people who are passionate about ensuring that their guests are well taken care off.

The room was clean and comfortable as well as the common area. The location of Federici was a big plus point too Near the Metro station and the Vatican. Overall our stay here was really good and during my next trip to Rome I will definitely book Federici again and will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends as well. Gianluca was extremely accommodating and helpful in every way and breakfast was just perfect! The bakery right next door was wonderful as well. We hope to return one day! We have already been several times in Rome, because we love this City.

And we enjoyed it very much! It is a nice Location and possibility to spend the Nights. It is a lot more personal comparing to a Hotel. In Quod Libet, the rooms are very nice, clean, spacious, I loved the Body lotion very much! Fabiano and his family are very friendly, helpful, Patient, You get very helpful Informations about restaurants, sight seeing tours, walking distances, And the breakfast is wonderful.

Fresh croissants, eggs, fruits, And it is located very close to the Vaticano. We only can say: thumbs up!! Thank you!!! The three kids ages were very comfortable in the Winter Room which had three separate twin sized beds and a bathroom with a combo tub and shower. The layout was great because our two rooms were a short hallway away so it seemed like we had our own private "wing" within the guesthouse. Both rooms were bright, clean and recently remodeled about four years ago. The guesthouse is on the 4th floor but there is an elevator that brings you within a few steps of the door.

We have stayed in many B and B's as a family and this was one of the best in terms of the level of service from the owners and staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Do keep in mind that there is no sign on the building for QuodLibet but they will send you a detailed description of how to find the right place when you book.

Plan on pay and display street parking from 8am - 8pm if you are driving. Would definitely stay here again, we are still missing the delicious breakfast! Breakfast is excellent and varied. Rooms are well equipped and cleaned daily. Steps from Metro and 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Fabio gave us lots of suggestions to make full use of our time in Rome Great place and would recommend unreservedly. As an aside, Connie at Italia Lodging was also very helpful and suggested Policarservice to pick us up at the airport.

Alessandro was waiting for us on arrival and made us feel welcome on the trip to Rome. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious with gorgeous toiletries that I did not expect. The owners were fantastic at making us welcome and planning our 4 day break in Rome. They suggested itineraries and recommended restaurants. Excellent location near metro and Vatican. Great breakfasts. Agostino and Gianluca were excellent hosts - very helpful, making sure that all of our needs were met. When we needed a taxi, they called one for us.

One morning we needed to have breakfast earlier than usual due to an early appointment. Agostino happily provided us with an early breakfast. I might add that breakfasts were delicious! They also gave us some excellent advice for places to visit and nearby restaurants. Our rooms were comfortable and spotless.

The building was very secure so that we felt safe staying here. All in all this was an excellent stay for us and I would heartily recommend Quodlibet to other travellers to Rome looking for a place to stay. The rooms were lovely, very tastefully decorated and with everything you could need with big, modern bathrooms. The breakfasts in the morning were fab, a bit of everything - fruit, yoghurt, croissants, toast, tea, coffee, juice, and served either in the kitchen area or in your room, which was a lovely touch.

Our hosts were great, very helpful giving tips on tourist attractions, walking routes, transport etc. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Rome - I've been 3 times now and if I ever go back I would definitely book Quodlibet. When we were dropped off by the taxi, Gianluca was waiting for us at the curb.

He took our bags and settled us into our room. He then sat us down at the kitchen table and gave us a brief education about Rome. Using a tourist map he suggested several walks we could take and several local restaurants that he recommended. This bus wound through the city which was an interesting ride in itself. He and the staff were always available for anything we might need and to answer any question.

He gave us his cell numbers to call anytime. They could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast was very good quality and quantity. The kitchen was stocked with snacks, coffee and tea, 24 hours. The location is excellent, close to Vatican City. A metro stop is 60 meters away. There are many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood including a 24 hour bakery next door. Quodlibet is an exceptional experience in Rome providing excellent value. We will be happy to return. Over all we feel very well. Charming room, clean and quiet with inside bathroom.

Breakfast ok. Fine tea or coffee, croissants or fresh bread, butter, jam, cheese and salami. Living room for relax. Near to Vaticano and the metro station Ottaviano. Rome is a dream city. Thank you to the owner Fabio for good informations. We will come again to Rome and to the Guesthouse Federici! Gianfranco o Giancarlo ora non ricordo. Sono stati disponibilissimi a darmi indicazioni su come muovermi a Roma.

Colazione abbondante accompagnata da piacevoli chiacchierate. Stanza silenziosa, ordinata e bagno con prodotti eco-sostenibili messi a disposizione dai clienti guarda caso io uso solo prodotti bio. Punteggio alto. Suggerisco vivamente a chi ha voglia di visitare Roma di andare qui. It is charming, well appointed, and staffed by the most helpful and service-oriented staff you will ever meet.

Agostino in particular saved the day by taking the time to call my airline multiple times when I lost my wallet on arrival in Rome until they responded. He always sought to make sure our stay and enjoyment of the city was the best it could be. We wholeheartedly give the highest recommendation to Quod Libet. It's very quit. The room is spacious enough for 3 persons. Bathroom is also good. We had breakfast in the kitchen. Gianluca and Agostino brothers in law are excellent hosts who will provide you with detailed inside information and speak perfect English a.

They will tell you all the do's and don'ts for your stay in Roma like buying your ticket for the Colosseum not at the Colosseum but at the forum Romanum so you can skip the line, never stay in the middle metro cars because of pickpockets If we will stay in Roma again we will definitely stay in Quod Libet. It was peaceful and we liked the old-fashioned furniture. The hotel is near Vatican City, so it was easy to walk there. We can recommend tourists to choose A Casa di Serena!

Delicious breakfast. Agostino, his brother and staff were very helpful with every need. Would not hesitate to stay here again! Thanks for the map And all the advices! Breakfasts were delicious, and our hosts were gracious and very helpful with all our travel needs.

Personale molto gentile. Ottima prima colazione. It was a perfect location to get everywhere we wanted to go in the city. The rooms were clean, the area safe and quiet, and we were next door to a 24 hour bakery. The service was excellent with a wonderful am breakfast and great conversation. I enjoyed meeting the other American families who were there. We were able to walk to the Vatican museums and St. Peter's as well as cross the river to the other tour parts of town. Ottima accoglienza.

Completamente accessoriato, anche di asciuga capelli. Ambiente molto pulito, arredamento moderno, tutto perfettamente funzionante. La colazione viene servita in camera all'ora preferita.

Wi-fi in camera. Al quarto piano di un bello stabile a 50 metri dalla fermata della metropolitana Ottaviano-San Pietro e a pochi minuti a piedi dalla Basilica di San Pietro. Fermata tram e autobus adiacente. Breakfast was sufficient to give you a good start of the day bread, cold cuts, egg, cheese, yoghurt, coffee, Nutella, croissants and fresh fruits, juice, coffee, pastries, all included in the price.

The Vatican Museums and St. Peter square are no more then 10 minutes walk distance. The Metro right on the corner, easy to use and never had a problem finding a taxi when needed. Ask them about the mobile hotspot rental, is very cheap and convenient to stay connected. Gianluca and Agustino are great with their customers, they helped us all the time we needed them with great suggestions about the city and with just about anything. Thumbs up for this place!! The owners were friendly and extremely accommodating.

They took the time to familiarize themselves with our plans, and give recommendations for dining, travel, etc. Their restaurant recommendations turned out to be some of our favorites in Rome. The continental breakfast every morning was delicious and offered a nice variety of choices. We thought that the location was perfect. It is only a few blocks from the main entrance of the Vatican Museums, and it was about a minute walk to the train station.

Rome is rather large so the proximity of the train was extremely convenient for exploring the city. We have no negative comments about our stay here. We would mention that it is on the 4th Floor; although, there is a small elevator available. Also, there was limited seating for breakfast, but it was never an issue during our stay.

Agostino is very helpful and a good English speaker. Easy walk to Vatican and easier to Metro. Loved our stay! They gave us tips for tours, sightseeing and places to eat, as well as, what to avoid.

Our accommodations were great I'd definitely stay at the Quodlibet again!!! It's close to the Metro but you can walk everywhere you need to - and the Vatican is only mins away. Gianluca and Agostino were so helpful with our itinerary, suggesting the best walking routes and order to see things in, as well as places to eat to get a proper Roman experience.

A great breakfast is served in your room every morning. Highly, highly recommended. Augustino and Gianluca were very helpful and improved our trip a great deal with their advice and recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended. Perfect location, yummy breakfast, lovely rooms and a warm welcome all contributed to a fantastic stay. Highly recommended and we'll definitely stay again on our next trip to Rome. From Agostino making us welcome on our arrival, through to Gianluca providing a hearty, excellent breakfast, Quodlibet made our stay in Rome a pleasant one.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable we stayed in the Autumn Room and nothing was too much trouble for the brothers-in-law who run QuodLibet. Agostino made some great suggestions for eating out and drafted 2 walks around Rome, taking in the major sites but also finding some hidden gems.

Reviews about our bed and breakfasts in Rome

We also arranged a taxi service from and back to the airport which worked like a dream with the help of Agostino. The location is perfect for the Vatican and is a gentle walk into the heart of Rome's Centro Storico, in our experience, this is the place to stay. Le service est hors pair. Che dire da prendere in considerazione ogni volta che ritorno a Roma.

It felt like "going home" after eight days of touring that beautiful country. Since our airport taxi was coming at , our hosts left breakfast on the table and in the fridge for us to start our day off right. The proximity to the Metro and Vatican made this a perfect place to stay. Our hosts helped us arrange airport transportation, both going and coming, and helped us secure train tickets to other cities. We would stay there again if ever in Rome. Ideally situated near the Vatican and close to a Metro station, it's the perfect address for a fantastic stay.

The rooms are decorated with style and taste and very clean. You feel immediately at home.

Breakfast is wonderful with delicious pastries from the adjacent pasticceria. A perfect start of the day. And last but not least, the charming welcome from both Augusto and Gianluca, who were of our entire disposal for any information or service, and always with kindness and a smile. Don't miss this fantastic address in the most beautiful city of Europe! Gianluca and Agostino were extremely kind and helpful;they went out of their way to help us find specialty shops and recommend restaurants and short cuts for long entrance lines to the Colosseum.

Their accommodation is stylish and exceptionally clean, the beds comfy, nice bath and separate shower. The breakfast was good and set us up for the long walks. The location was perfect, near to the metro, near the Vatican and also within easy walking distance from Piazza Navona and the city center.

In the evenings we took a metro or taxi back. We would not hesitate to return to QL or recommend it to our friends. Thank you Gianluca and Agostino!! My wife and I spent 6 days at QuodLibet and we will be definitely staying there again on our next visit to Rome. Nothing was too difficult for our hosts - from advice on great local eating places to personalising the pastries for breakfast. Highly recommended!! We met our adult daughter in Rome, so needed room for three. The "summer room" at Quodlibet accomodated us very well. The breakfasts included rolls from the bakery next door yum!

The location can't be beat, since it's just a ten minute walk from the Vatican and just a block from the nearest subway station. Our plane arrived at a. In the states we'd have to wait until to check in, but here they just hustled and made sure we felt welcome and encouraged us to take a nap to help with jet lag. A restaurant, il Duca, was recommended by Agostino, so we tried it and loved it. They were concerned that we knew how to be safe on the subway, so we heeded their advice and found it easy and safe other guests had their passports stolen on the subway the day we arrived.

They dropped everything to help the guests figure out what to do. My final comment is that the apartment was quiet of interior noises, like doors slamming, other guests voices, etc. We wouldn't have known there were others there if we hadn't seen them at breakfast. There were some normal street noises, but nothing too annoying. It was a great experience.

The room - We had the family room which was enormous!! The rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast - was the best we had in Italy - fresh bakery goods every day from the bakery downstairs which was wonderful and you can't escape its smell :- , fresh bread or toast, hot cappuccino, yogurt, cheese, boiled egg and basically everything you need in a breakfast! Always filled us up until late in the day. The hosts - the best thing about Qoudlibet! Finally a place where the moment we got to it, we got a map with suggestions on what to do for all of our time in Rome including recommendations you don't find in any guidebooks and restaurants "prepared" for each of our nights - each one better than the previous one especially "L'Osteria Centouno" - best steak I had in Italy!

And if that's not enough - they were always available - from advise what to do on a rainy day to ordering us pizza for take away and making dinner reservations and even recommending us where to buy gifts for the family and where I can buy a nice bag for myself. It really didn't bother us since we like walking and due to the vicinity to the metro station and I would not trade the location for any other!

Wifi - flawless. Il servizio impeccabile e precise e dettagliate le informazioni forniteci dai proprietari su dove mangiare e cosa visitare in zona. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Ci ritornero' volentieri quando dovro' venire a. Molto preziosi i consigli e i suggerimenti su itinerari e trattorie.

Sicuramente sapremo dove alloggiare quando torneremo a Roma! Nel frattempo vi faremo conoscere agli amici di Bologna. We had a wonderful time! The owner and his family were very accommodating and helpful. Some mornings we left early to visit the Vatican museum and the owner made a point of showing up early to make sure we had our breakfast. I did find myself eating wonderful Italian pastries at odd hours of the night.

The rental apartment we stayed at across from Trevi Foundation was a wonderful location! We were walking distance to so many historical places in the city. The apartment was very contemporary and newly updated. The apartment overlooked a beautiful courtyard of one of the oldest art schools in Rome. I would highly recommend both places and I am sure I will return to Quodlibet in the future. Best wishes, Seattle, Washington U.

The room was very comfortable and the location was great. It was walking distance to the Vatican and most places in Rome and if you don't like walking it is only minutes to the nearest Metro station.

The breakfast was great and the rooms really clean. Geanluca was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make sure not only our stay at QuodLibet was great, but also offering advice, tips and direction for our time as tourists in Rome. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The location is very close to the Merto stop and just a few blocks from Vatican City. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and charming. We stongly recommend QuodLibet for couples traveling to Rome! Our only critiques are, that the shower in our room was too small and the keys for the room, apartment and downstairs doors were too big and too many.

Molto preparati e pieni di ottimi consigli. Gentilezza e cortesia regna incontrastata. Molto positiva anche la posizione a due passi da san Pietro e da via Cola di Rienzo strada elegante e frequentata da molti romani per i negozi molto belli. Esperienza da ripetere. We had some concerns about the location as from the maps it did not seem very central, but once there we realised that such concerns were unfounded as: 1. There is a metro station literally 3 minutes walk down the road, from which the "centre" is a mere two stops away.

The Vatican is less than 10 minutes walk. In fact, those inclined to experience Rome through walking will find that various central locations are at most 30 minutes lovely walk away. Both of them Agostino and Gianluca were always eager to help from the time we made the booking till the time we boarded the taxi to the train station - perhaps too eager which led to a potentially disastrous misunderstanding.

However, what distinguishes the very top accommodation is, in my view, the ability and willingness of the hosts to deal with such unfortunate events in the correct and most hassle free manner and Agostino and Gianluca did just that, rendering our stay at QUODLIBET even more unforgettable. It was as we remembered it, charming, so comfortable without the touristy feel.

We stayed in the Autumn room and w ere delighted to find a mini fridge in our room. This adds on to all the little touches one only finds in much more expensive accomodation. These included lovely toiletries, cotton bed linen and artistic surroundings. For us, loving Rome as we do, Quodlibet's location in an impressive old palazzo right beside the metro and so close to many beautiful places is just great. Getting around is so easy and Gianlucca and Agostino tell all guests about wonderful local places to eat, again not touristy. It's a real pleasure to have breakfast served in ones room, so delicious.

Can't wait to go back! Our journey was made so much easier by using the taxi service recommended to and from the airport. When we arrived we were greeted by Augustino who was very helpful and informative. Our rooms were lovely, and spacious. Everything worked well, including the Nespresso machine, which was a welcome surprise.

We had access to the kitchen for tea during the day and evening when we were around. Breakfast was beautifully served either in our room or in the dining area next to the kitchen. We were able to ask for lots of advice if we needed it, which included recommendations as to where to eat. The Metro is even nearer, with the Colosseum and other areas an easy distance away. Quad Libet was recommended to us by friends who had stayed 2 years ago, and we will recommend it to our friends and family on our return.

Thank you for a lovely stay.
